Whittan Group Announces New Sales Director and Exciting Plans for the Future

Whittan Group, the UK’s leading manufacturer of storage solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Carl Bould as the new Group Sales Director. Previously serving as the Managing Director for Whittan’s trusted locker brands; LinkLockers and Probe, Carl is well-positioned to assist the company in its next phase of growth and innovation. With a 25-year career in sales, Carl brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role. With a proven history of surpassing sales targets and driving business growth, Carl’s knowledge of Whittan Group's operations uniquely positions him to ensure the success and strategic advancement of the organisation.

 

In his new role, Carl will spearhead the sales strategy for Whittan’s trusted pallet racking, shelving and locker brands; Link51, Apex, LinkLockers and Probe, driving growth and fostering stronger relationships with valued customers and partners. His proven track record in developing successful sales initiatives will be instrumental in propelling Link51 and Apex to new heights. Talking about his new appointment as Group Sales Director, Carl said: "I am thrilled to take on this new role and drive forward the sales strategy across the Group. I look forward to building upon the strong foundation, continuing to deliver exceptional results, and working closely with our talented sales team to achieve our objectives."

 

Looking to the future, the Group is already on an exciting journey, with significant investments made to enhance Whittan’s manufacturing capabilities. The manufacturer’s Milton Keynes facility has undergone major upgrades, with the integration of new cutting-edge robotic welders, enhanced paint plant and an advanced warehouse management system. There are even more substantial developments underway, including the upcoming installation of a new multi-million-pound, state of the art, upright rolling line and a new beam rolling mill. This underscores the Group’s commitment to operational excellence and its ability to confidently meet the market's most demanding applications.

 

Speaking about the ongoing developments, Carl concluded: “Product development and innovation is essential to us, as we continue to look ahead at the future needs of our customers in meeting ever more stringent technical standards and challenging applications. Over the next 12 months, we will be bringing to market a new pallet racking product range that utilises our new manufacturing assets and will ensure we are well positioned to meet future market requirements. However, it is essential to reassure our customers that we are fully committed to ensuring the long-term availability of all our pallet racking product ranges and to support our customers with these products for the duration.”
