Whittan Invests in the Future Generation of Engineers
As the UK’s largest manufacturer of storage solutions, Whittan is committed to supporting the future generation of engineers. Therefore, we’re pleased to announce that we are launching the brand-new Whittan Graduate Scheme, supporting and guiding some of the brightest minds in the future of engineering.
The scheme is aimed at recent engineering graduates or undergraduates in their final year looking to take their next step beyond university of college. With a dedicated mentor throughout the scheme, our graduates will be supported carefully on both a professional and personal level.
Following a carefully designed two-year programme focused on some of our core engineering-related roles within the Group, each graduate will get to experience roles in a range of departments, from sales and business development to design and technical.
The first year will involve key placements with more specific time focused in the graduate’s area of preference (either sales or technical design). Then the second year will see the graduate move into a more structured day-to-day role. The scheme will also include the opportunity for travel abroad to our factory and offices across Europe.
At the end of the two-year programme, providing each graduate has progressed in accordance with our structured competency framework, they will be offered a permanent role at Whittan.
