After an impressive tenure, Jon Templeman has made the decision to step down as Whittan’s CEO. Jon will now continue to contribute to the company's success in a different role, taking over from Bob Ellis who will also be stepping down from his role as non-executive chairman.
Under Jon’s guidance, the Whittan Group has achieved numerous milestones, including the momentous celebration of its 70th anniversary and an extensive group-wide re-brand. Throughout his tenure, Jon successfully navigated various challenges, leaving an indelible mark on the company's growth and success.
Reflecting on his time as CEO, Jon said, "I have been CEO at Whittan for five and a half years now and in that time we have faced many challenges. However, together we have also achieved some incredible milestones, including celebrating our 70th anniversary and undergoing a major group-wide re-brand. I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together and am grateful to the entire Whittan team for their hard work and dedication.
“I look forward to continuing my involvement in the business, albeit in a different role, and watching Whittan continue to thrive and innovate under the leadership of Richard Moss. I would like to wish Richard every success in his role as CEO. Having worked alongside Richard for over five years, I am confident in his ability to lead Whittan into a promising future.”
While stepping down from his position, Jon remains committed to Whittan's progress and will continue to be actively involved as the non-executive chairman, ensuring a seamless transition and providing valuable guidance.
Taking the helm as Whittan's new CEO is Richard Moss, a seasoned executive who has been an integral part of the company for the last five years. With a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the industry, Richard is poised to continue driving Whittan's success story.
Jon added, “Richard’s knowledge of the industry, commitment to the business and drive for change and improvement will enable him to lead the group in an exciting new chapter of development.”
