What does your job involve?
I manage a team of 10 order designers who provide a storage solution to meet our customer’s specific requirements. It is my responsibility to ensure the team have the correct resources, processes and support, to enable them to provide the best design service that we can offer. All design issues and escalations are reviewed by me to ensure any problems are resolved within a timely manner.
Have you progressed since starting with Whittan. What has been your career path?
I started in 2007 as an Order Coordinator with limited office experience; I remained in that role for approximately 12 months before progressing through the roles of Installation Administrator, Design Coordinator, Shelving Designer, Amazon Cell Manager, Major Projects Cell Manager and finally Design Office Manager, which I started in June 2017.
What do you enjoy about your job?
I enjoy managing large complex projects, resolving customer complaints, reducing errors through process control, reducing costs through design improvements and challenging our suppliers on cost.

Future career goals within Whittan
I would like to expand my knowledge in finance, marketing, manufacturing and the supply chain so I can progress into a senior fulfilment management role.
