Our SHEQ and CSR statements, along with our wider group standards, allow us to maintain the highest standards of operational excellence. These are constantly reviewed, to promote a ‘zero harm’ culture across the Whittan Group.
Working in accordance with British standard requirements, high-quality expectations will be achieved by a high level of commitment from all employees. In doing so, we can continuously improve levels of safety, health, environment and quality.
SEMA
SEMA Members have the capacity to produce high quality products and systems; ranging from the smallest plastic container to complex high-bay fully automatic storage installations - designed and installed often to critical tolerances. Over the years, SEMA has developed a series of relevant "Codes of Practice," which are the Industry standards. All SEMA members are required to conform to these standards. Carbon Reduction Plan
As part of Whittan’s corporate responsibility to the Environment and our continuing efforts to reduce our Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, Whittan is fully committed to contributing to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Changes (IPCC) recommended goal of limiting global warming to 1.5% and to achieve Net Zero. The Government has set a national target of 2050 to achieve this, however Whittan has set itself a challenging target of achieving Net Zero by 2035, we are currently on target, and we will continue to monitor our progress via our Carbon Reduction Plan HERE.
