West Yorkshire Police's City and Holbeck Division required a storage solution for 460 officers, combining personal storage with dedicated space for police support equipment (PSU). A bespoke locker system was needed to ensure security, cleanliness, and fast access for officers during high-pressure situations.

The Solution: Bespoke Locker Solutions for Police Support Equipment

LinkLockers was tasked with designing and installing custom lockers and PSU cages. Each locker unit was tailored to accommodate the unique equipment issued to officers, including stab vests and riot helmets. The solution was designed to fit into the existing facility, considering variations in ceiling heights, ducting, and pillars.

The lockers were organised in separate male and female changing areas, each fitted with heavy-duty storage solutions. The design ensured both conventional personal storage and specialised PSU storage, offering an ideal balance between personal belongings and equipment safety.
