The Royal High School of Edinburgh
Founded in 1128 and one of the oldest schools not only in Scotland but the whole of Europe, the Royal High School (RHS) of Edinburgh is a high-achieving, co-educational state school administered by the City of Edinburgh Council.
Increasing storage provision in a busy school was top of the list for headteacher, Jane Frith. Her priority was to triple the number of individual lockers from 100 to 300 and to ensure smooth installation without disrupting the school day. The lockers made a significant difference straight away. Not only could pupils safely store their belongings, the school environment benefitted from optimal use of space while keeping corridors open.
