The challenge: 

Completing the installation of a new logistics centre in Madrid, Spain, to ensure maximised storage capacity and reduced delivery times.

The requirements: 

• To maximise storage capacity for Servicio Móvil’s clients
• Create minimal disruption to business 
• To fit out logistics installation in Madrid to reduce delivery times

How we delivered:

• Increased storage capacity of 22,520 pallets with a load unit EURO pallet of 800 x 1,200 mm and a maximum load of 1,000 kg/unit.
• Installed pallet racking with narrow aisle configuration for forklifts articulated to adapt to the handling equipment used by the client. 
• Put mesh panel enclosure in place to prevent goof from falling onto adjoining pedestrian and work zones.
• Built protections on all exposed uprights and side frame guards on the ends of shelf alignments and evacuation tunnels.
