Hill Dickinson
Founded in 1810, Hill Dickinson is now one of the UK's leading commercial legal firms, with offices around the world. Hill Dickinson operated various satallite archive storage units to support it's Liverpool offices. They undertook a total review of how their lawyers work with files and how they needed to manage physical paper resources from file inception, through dormant, to archive. It decided to consolidate these archives in a central repository at a location in Liverpool.
The Link51 design is centred on a series of back-to-back shelving bays mounted on bases that run on parallel rails set into the floor. Each base can accommodate up to 22 tonnes, yet can be easily moved laterally with the use of a lightweight, ergonomically designed hand wheel.
