Accolade Wines, operating from Europe’s largest bonded warehouse in Bristol, required a high-density storage solution for their engineering and maintenance stock. Their existing two-tier open shelving system was inefficient, making it difficult to locate items and manage assets effectively. With over 30 engineers relying on a seamless workflow to support bottling and distribution operations, the need for an updated, efficient storage system was critical.

The Approach: Tailored Euro Shelving System for Improved Stock Control

Hayley Group engaged Link51 to design and install a tailored solution using Euro shelving systems. The new setup included pigeonholes, plastic drawers, and open bays with adjustable shelves for irregular items, along with specialised bays for cable reels. A bespoke sloped top shelf was added to improve audit compliance by preventing overhead storage. Link51 adapted the design throughout the project to accommodate the customer’s evolving requirements, ensuring future-proofing and efficient stock management.
